Quick update:

Important stuff going on lately!!! Hayes Lane is now sitting alone, rolling from his tummy to his back, and trying to push up to his knees from his tummy! He just can't wait to be mobile and keep up with his sister. Bedtime has been disastrous. I've been trying really hard to get him to sleep in his own bed. I don't care if it's in our room or upstairs, as long as I can get some real sleep instead of sleeping with one eye open! So last night I started our modified version of the "cry it out" method. After about an hour he fell asleep upstairs in his crib. Just as I was nice and cozy in my bed, he woke up without his Mommy. I went back upstairs, got him back to sleep and came back down to bed. 30 minutes later, he was up again. He did this until 3 a.m. I finally just gave up and put him in bed with me. He fell asleep immediately and didn't wake up again. Then at 4 a.m. I woke to a little girl climbing up my side of the bed. I feel like I'm starting back at square one with both babies. Wish me luck on this one!

Carey is on call more often this rotation. It's been about every 3 days. No fun. Carey sees it as more afternoons at home with us (when he's on call he goes in at 5 a.m. one day and gets off around lunch the next day. He has the afternoon to recover and sleep before returning the next morning for a regular day). I see it as a dreadful and stressful evening and bedtime :) AGW is really struggling with seperation anxiety from her Daddy. We haven't found a good way to deal with this and hope that it will pass with age.

That's all for now!
