I've been a slacker lately. I vow to do better. Here are our updates.
AGW: Poor baby caught a virus on the way to "Nati" and is trying to recover. She has been a tough little booger with all of the traveling and changes over the last few weeks. Her favorite words are still yep and nope, although she is does surprise me on a daily basis with her vocabulary.
Carey: feeling very confident in our new hometown of Cincinnati. During our visit last week he was actually able to experience more than just the halls of the hospital and enjoy the town a little bit. We both agree that our family will love the area. He is in the process of submitting all of his employment papers and wrapping up everything for graduation.
Emma and Cash: have not left our sides since we returned from our trip. They both insist of sleeping between us in bed at night; Cash between our legs and Emma between our heads. They need lots of lovin' these days!
Me: I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers over the last week. My family is doing well and we are glad that Papaw is singing and dancing on the streets of gold!
We did have an ultrasound yesterday and just knew that we would be able to find out whether we would have another sweet little girl or a brand new boy. We were sent home extremely disappointed, but happy to report that everything looks good so far. We have another appointment after graduation but we hope that we won't be around to make it! If we have already moved, we are considering just not finding out at all. I'm not sure that I can actually go through with that, but we'll see!
The house update is rather complicated. We are still waiting to find out what kind of mold is in the house. The environmental group came out today and tested. We should know by Monday if it was the "bad" mold. I think Carey and I have decided not to go through with the process if it turns out to be bad. We also are waiting on a structural engineer to checkout a few things for us. If the house needs support beams added, we can't go through with it. Seems like a lot of IF's. That's the problem! We also found out that our #2 house is under contract now. So we are back at square 1 if our dream house falls through. Luckily we have an amazing realtor who understands what we want and is already sending us wonderful new listings. I feel confident that God has our perfect house for us and is teaching us a thing or two about faith and patience! :)
